Plumbing Helper
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Help plumbers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, pipes, and fixtures.
- Provide the necessary tools, equipment, and materials for plumbers as required during tasks.
- Assist in positioning and holding pipes, fixtures, and tools during the installation or repair process.
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment to the job site.
- Safely load and unload plumbing supplies and equipment.
- Maintain an organized workspace and keep track of all tools and equipment used in the project.
- Assist in cutting, threading, and assembling pipes under the guidance of the plumber.
- Perform basic tasks such as measuring, cutting, and joining pipes.
- Help detect leaks, blockages, and other plumbing issues and report them to the supervising plumber.
- Prepare job sites by cleaning and clearing obstacles and setting up materials and tools.
- Clean up the job site after work is completed, including disposing of debris and ensuring all tools are stored properly.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures as per ADNOC's safety policies.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times and ensure the safety of the work area.
- Assist in setting up safety barriers or signage when necessary.
- Learn from experienced plumbers and gain knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
- Show a willingness to improve skills and take on additional responsibilities under supervision.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or certification in plumbing is an advantage.
- Previous experience as a plumbing helper or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of plumbing systems and tools is beneficial.

- Capable of lifting heavy equipment and materials.
- Willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, sometimes in harsh conditions.
