Plumbing Helper

Responsibilities:

1. Help plumbers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, pipes, and fixtures.
2. Provide the necessary tools, equipment, and materials for plumbers as required during tasks.
3. Assist in positioning and holding pipes, fixtures, and tools during the installation or repair process.
4. Transport materials, tools, and equipment to the job site.
5. Safely load and unload plumbing supplies and equipment.
6. Maintain an organized workspace and keep track of all tools and equipment used in the project.
7. Assist in cutting, threading, and assembling pipes under the guidance of the plumber.
8. Perform basic tasks such as measuring, cutting, and joining pipes.
9. Help detect leaks, blockages, and other plumbing issues and report them to the supervising plumber.
10. Prepare job sites by cleaning and clearing obstacles and setting up materials and tools.
11. Clean up the job site after work is completed, including disposing of debris and ensuring all tools are stored properly.
12. Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures as per ADNOC's safety policies.
13. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times and ensure the safety of the work area.
14. Assist in setting up safety barriers or signage when necessary.
15. Learn from experienced plumbers and gain knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
16. Show a willingness to improve skills and take on additional responsibilities under supervision.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or certification in plumbing is an advantage.
2. Previous experience as a plumbing helper or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
3. Basic understanding of plumbing systems and tools is beneficial.
