Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting plumbing systems within residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You will ensure that plumbing systems are efficient, safe, and compliant with all building codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design plumbing systems for new construction, renovations, and existing building upgrades, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
• Perform system analysis to determine the best plumbing solutions, taking into account efficiency, cost, and environmental factors.
• Supervise the installation of plumbing systems, ensuring that the work is completed to specification and on schedule.
• Review and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to integrate plumbing systems into overall building designs.
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing plumbing systems, troubleshooting and repairing issues as needed.
• Prepare detailed reports, system designs, and technical documentation for clients and regulatory authorities.
• Work with procurement teams to specify plumbing materials and equipment.
• Ensure high-quality standards in all plumbing installations and services.
• Stay current with new plumbing technologies, industry trends, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Professional certification in plumbing engineering (such as CPD or equivalent) is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing engineering, preferably in [specific sectors or industries].
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including piping, water treatment, drainage, and fire protection systems.
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations (local and international) as well as industry best practices.
• Proficient in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and other engineering tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and clients.
