Female Maths Teacher needed in Ras Al Khaimah

I am looking for a qualified and experienced female teacher of mathematics to join my client for the next academic year. This is an all-girls school located in the beautiful Emirate of RAK, which is up and coming. The school delivers the USA Common Core, and so if you have experience teaching USA or AP curriculum, it would be highly beneficial to your application. Most of the students are local Emirati, and the teachers are mixed from Western and local Arab countries. If you have experience teaching Middle East students before, it would be highly beneficial to your application.

The school has class sizes of about 1:25 students. The students are very respectful, so there will be little or no behavior problems at the school. In addition, the school has excellent teaching facilities with interactive whiteboards and projectors, and they have upgraded to a new building. The school is about 10 minutes from the center of town, and RAK is an up-and-coming area for many expatriates, so you can easily make new friends. RAK is about 45 minutes from Dubai, but the great thing about being here is that you can switch off after work.

Requirements to Apply

• Degree in Mathematics
• Valid teaching certificate in Maths PGCE in Maths with QTS
• Western trained
• Ideally 2 years teaching experience
• High command of written and spoken English
• Up to date with modern pedagogy
