Job Description

1. Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
2. Ensures all work follows safe work practices and procedures
3. Responds immediately to all work requests which concern Health and Safety
4. Ensures environmentally friendly practices are followed when handling chemicals, lubricants, and finishing products
5. Responds to guest requests promptly in a professional and courteous manner
6. Assists in maintaining the working condition of the building structure; building operations systems, equipment and controls; technical equipment of other departments; maintenance conditions in guest rooms, public spaces, BOH/service areas, function areas, and offices
7. Completes all work orders with due diligence
8. Maintains a daily log book highlighting problems and solutions; and activities
9. Maintains equipment catalog and the various systems’ directories
10. Actively participates in the monthly departmental meeting by providing feedback and offering suggestions for improvement
11. Completes tasks as assigned by Duty Engineer
12. Maintains health and safety documentation and records for the assigned area
13. Reports and documents potential safety hazards
14. Participates as directed in the emergency response team
