Plumber

Responsibilities:

1. Install and repair piping systems, fixtures, water heaters, and other plumbing-related equipment.
2. Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems in residential and industrial facilities.
3. Test plumbing systems for leaks and perform repairs when necessary.
4. Install valves, hangers, supports, and other piping system components.
5. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.
6. Identify malfunctions or required repairs through regular testing and troubleshooting.
7. Respond to emergencies like leaks or blockages promptly.
8. Ensure compliance with ADNOC safety policies and procedures, especially in high-risk areas such as oil and gas pipelines.
9. Adhere to local and international standards for plumbing in the oil and gas industry (e.g., API, ASME codes).
10. Follow strict safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.
11. Maintain records of performed work, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
12. Prepare reports on completed jobs and present them to supervisors or management when required.
13. Coordinate with other departments (e.g., electrical, HVAC, mechanical) to ensure plumbing systems integrate well with the overall facility systems.
14. Work with contractors, engineers, and supervisors to complete projects.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent. Certification or technical training in plumbing is preferred.
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a plumber, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
3. Familiarity with the maintenance and installation of industrial plumbing systems, piping, and fixtures used in the oil and gas industry.
