We are partnered with a leading Fintech who is looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development with both front-end and back-end experience. This role focuses on internal developer enablement, ensuring that the engineering team can write, push, and deploy code easily and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:

1. Developer Enablement: Enhance the productivity and efficiency of the engineering team by streamlining the code writing, pushing, and deployment processes.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams across the organization to understand their needs and provide solutions that improve their development workflows.
3. Infrastructure as Code: Utilize Kubernetes and Terraform to manage and deploy scalable and reliable infrastructure.
4. Full-Stack Insight: While not necessarily a full-time full-stack engineer, you should have experience in both front-end and back-end development to bridge gaps and enhance cross-disciplinary collaboration.
5. Coding Expertise: Leverage your strong coding background, with a preference for TypeScript and JavaScript, to develop tools and solutions that empower the developers.
6. Create and maintain systems that support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).

Required Qualifications:

1. Proven background in software development, having previously worked as a developer.
2. Experience in both front-end and back-end development, even if one area is more predominant in your career.
3. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
4. Strong understanding and practical experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
5. Solid experience in DevOps practices and platform engineering.
6. Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
7. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
8. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
9. Understanding of microservices architecture.
