Plant Supervisor

Position Description Summary (Position purpose, Geographical scope):

Plant Supervisor is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and maintaining equipment and processes for the production of Polyester Polyols and Resins. The primary role is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of utilities and equipment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Accountable for the operations assigned during your shift.
2. Follow and enforce HSEQ procedures to prevent injury and accidents.
3. Operate plant equipment and utilities as per the Standard Operating Procedure/Checklist.
4. Monitor plant processes and respond to warning signals and alarms that indicate issues have arisen.
5. Conduct regular rounds in the plant during the shift to identify any abnormal situations.
6. Effectively allocate the workers/Forklift operators to complete their duties efficiently on time.
7. Evaluate equipment performance and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
8. Ensure that the working environment is maintained, safe, and organized.
9. Report the maintenance requirements to the responsible department.
10. Act as a multiplicator and role model of Pearl’s Values of Passion, Ownership, Entrepreneurial Spirit, and Accountability.
