POSITION SUMMARY

• Filling and storage of cylinder, bulk gas and liquid products ex Dubai, ensuring all operations are carried out in accordance with company operating, quality and safety procedures and standards, and with national and local legislation, by working closely with internal stakeholders to meet customer requirements.
• Handling of cylinders in the yard, loading & offloading trucks (both APME and customer owned), containers, Dewars, and mini tanks.
• Refurbishment and maintenance of cylinders including hydrostatic testing, valuing, de-valuing, painting, cleaning, and all activities related to cylinder refurbishment.
• Clean up of the yard and filling plant.
• Moving cylinders to filling/loading area with forklift.
• Loading/unloading trucks safely.

Control & regulate the quality and capability of gas products, adjust plant production, be responsible for the calibration of the analyzer, production loading, safety inspection, and general inspection. Assist supervisors, managers, and shift leaders in finishing the maintenance of plant equipment and other assigned works.

Maintain safety stock and revalidate.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Attend all meetings, presentations, coffee talks, and training as requested by the line supervisor.
• Report incidents/accidents and take immediate actions in the event of an emergency, reporting in line with procedures.
• Follow all EH&S training requirements for personnel, all equipment, plant performance levels, and procedures to ensure products are delivered to customer expectations, meeting all relevant company and international standards.
• Minimize product losses.
• Participate in any CI event as requested by the line supervisor.
• Report NCRs and ensure compliance with ERP procedures.
• Perform cycle counts as requested by the line supervisor.
• Monitor operating equipment and keep them running well.
• Notify the maintenance team and assist in solving problems.
• Ensure reliability of supply to customers.
• Execute Supervisor’s directions and provide feedback.
• Responsible for plant start-up/shut down, troubleshooting, etc.
• Implement performance management.
• Implement new operator training and draft/update plant operating procedures.
• Be responsible for plant equipment safety during all processes.
• Ensure daily plant operations are efficient and safe, including process control, productivity, parameter adjustment, and timely notice of filling.
• Improve English skills; be able to read, speak, and write proficiently.
• Daily housekeeping.
• Laboratory QC performance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Technical degree.
• Forklift license.
• Basic operating knowledge of ERP system.
• Good communication and motivational skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with the Merchant gas business.
• Good knowledge of safety practices.
• Honest, hardworking, and willing to make efforts for self-actualization.
• Flexibility in working shifts.
• Good team player.
• Proactive, energetic, and eager to learn.
