Planning Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare & Supervise master/baseline schedule for the project and review the schedule submitted in the bid, preparing the detailed baseline schedule (L1 to L6) during design and construction stages.
2. Prepare & Supervise initial network of activities in simplified form for project programme in Primavera and maintain critical path diagrams to ensure project milestones are met.
3. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and coordinate the preparation of commercial time sheets for reimbursable projects.
4. Prepare look-ahead schedules (30, 60, 90) and forecast activity schedules, supplying information to respective departments for timely availability of resources on site.
5. Prepare the progress measurement system such as manpower histograms and progress S curves, which are reviewed at periodic intervals.
6. Prepare Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for the project.
7. Conduct schedule risk analysis as required and advise on action plans to mitigate delays.
8. Conduct regular site visits to ensure implementation of systems and conduct audits on progress and costs.
9. Alert Project Managers and other stakeholders to resolve issues related to progress slippage.
10. Periodically prepare progress variance reports (budgeted vs actual) and identify reasons for discrepancies.
11. Prepare, review, and implement Recovery Programs for planning and cost control.
12. Ensure proper corrections in the project schedule in case of change orders and document their impact on the overall project schedule.
13. Work closely with Project Managers in project coordination and control.
14. Support Project Managers in the preparation of claims.
15. Capture data during project execution on a weekly/monthly basis up to L2/L3 activities.
