Job Description

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for electrical and instrumentation tasks, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines.
• Conduct regular progress assessments and provide timely reports to stakeholders, highlighting any deviations from the plan.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure that all design and installation activities are sequenced correctly and resources are allocated efficiently.
• Continuously monitor the progress of ongoing projects and tasks and regularly follow up with internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project completion.
• Assist in managing the suborders ensuring timely procurement, delivery, and installation.
• Facilitate communication between different departments to ensure a cohesive approach to project planning and execution.
• Utilize planning software to create and update project schedules, optimizing the workflow for E&I activities.
• Assist in resource planning and allocation, ensuring that skilled personnel are available when needed.
• Prepare and present project planning documentation, including schedules, reports, and forecasts, to management and stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in planning and expedition within the oil and gas or power sectors.
• Professional certifications such as PMP or IPMA are highly preferred to demonstrate project management expertise.
• Experience with advanced scheduling tools like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is crucial for effective project management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required to navigate complex project challenges.
• Excellent communication skills are essential to engage with various stakeholders and teams effectively.
• A proactive approach and strong organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A commitment to safety and quality standards in project execution is vital for maintaining operational integrity.
