This position is for Planning Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience, holding sufficient knowledge of 132/11kV Substation. The role is responsible for providing planning and scheduling support to Project Managers, focusing mainly on providing detailed review analysis and monitoring of the design, procurement, and construction programs of the Contractor and Subcontractors.
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using advanced planning software such as Primavera P6.
- Baseline schedule review and provide feedback to ensure compliance and secure client/authority approval.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and provide solutions to mitigate delays.
- Track and update project milestones, key deliverables, and timelines, ensuring accountability across all teams.
- Provide progress reports, project accruals, graphs, and critical path analysis for the monthly and weekly progress reports to the client.
- Review recovery program/micro schedule, coordinate with engineering discipline, procurement, etc., and provide recommendations to limit the impact on project timelines.
- Prepare progress reports including critical path analysis, earned value analysis, and forecast updates.
- Provide support for the project change management process by evaluating the impact of proposed changes on the project schedule.
- Maintain records of monitoring the program to enable input and support to the Project Manager to evaluate any related Contractor claims and variations as considered necessary.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Primavera P6 with certification.
- MS Project.
- Knowledge of SCL Delay protocol.
- Knowledge of FIDIC Terms and Conditions.
