Job Description

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints and resource availability.
• Conduct rigorous cost analysis to forecast project expenditures and identify variances, enabling proactive financial management.
• Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to gather estimates, ensuring accuracy in budgeting and resource allocation.
• Prepare detailed reports on project performance metrics, providing actionable insights for stakeholders to make informed decisions.
• Implement and refine project control systems, utilizing advanced software tools to enhance tracking and reporting capabilities.
• Lead risk assessment workshops to identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to control costs.
• Oversee contract management processes, ensuring compliance with financial terms and conditions to protect organizational interests.
• Train and mentor team members on best practices in planning and cost control, fostering a culture of efficiency and accountability.
• Engage with external stakeholders, including vendors and clients, to negotiate costs and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Continuously monitor industry trends and best practices in planning and cost control, integrating innovative approaches into project management methodologies.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCP (Certified Cost Professional) are highly desirable.
• Minimum 10 years' experience as a Planning Manager in any GCC Country in a building construction industry.
• Experience with project management software like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is essential for effective planning.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and transform findings into strategic actions.
