Job Title: Piping Checker

Reporting To: Team Leader

Assistance: Team Members

In Absence: Replaced By Team Member

Main Responsibilities

1. Familiarity with client project scope and specifications.
2. Check pipe spool drawings used for fabrication by shop against client drawings, scope, and specifications for accuracy and manufacturability, mark-up errors, and re-check corrections made by drafter before being released to shop for fabrication.
3. Familiar with and utilize department standards, procedures, and guidelines.
4. Understand shop methods used in the fabrication of pipe spool.

4. Good Technical Knowledge: Knowledge in piping detail engineering. Review Piping Isometric and Spool drawing.
5. Working Under Pressure: Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.
6. Organized: Possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task.
7. Reliability: The trait of being dependable and trustworthy.
8. Communication, Oral: Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word.
9. Communication, Written: Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
10. Familiar with ACAD application.
11. Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Piping Design Engineering.
12. Education: Academic Education to Diploma Level Minimum in Mechanical Engineering.
13. Linguistic Skill: Fluency in English is Mandatory.
