Job summary

MSSION:

Responsible for developing and reviewing piping layouts, ensuring maintainability and handling requirements are met, and coordinating with other disciplines to resolve design issues.

TASKS:

• Develop and optimize piping layouts, ensuring maintainability and handling requirements are met.
• Ensure designs comply with industry codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Conduct 3D model reviews and address comments and feedback from inter-discipline teams.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve design conflicts and ensure integrated project delivery.
• Ensure all designs adhere to the Client’ standards and specifications.
• Conduct quality checks and reviews of designs and models to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Address and resolve any design issues or discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design calculations, material take-offs (MTOs), and technical reports.
• Generate weight control reports for piping components and bulk materials.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in piping & layout engineering within the Oil & Gas sector, specifically in EPC offshore fixed facilities.
• Proven experience with 3D model reviews and resolution of comments.
• Proven experience with Saudi Aramco, ADNOC or Qatargas standards.
• Fluent level of English, written and spoken.

• Contract Duration: 6 months;
