Job description

Key Accountabilities:

1. Responsible to comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls and to behave in a manner, which ensures that their actions or omissions do not adversely affect the environment, health, safety and wellbeing of themselves, colleagues, contractors or members of the public.
2. Meeting all responsibilities as outlined in the DDW OHSMS.
3. Participating in any training and safety initiatives implemented by the Company.
4. Complying with all Safety directives and work instructions.
5. Immediately reporting any incident or potential hazard to their Supervisor or Safety Dept.
6. STOP the task if you feel yourself or others may be harmed.

Experience / Qualification & Skills:

1. Vocational/Diploma in Mechanical engineering or Hydraulics with experience in marine hydraulics.
2. Experience in the repairing of various hydraulic components such as hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic motors, hydraulic pumps, hydraulic valves/manifold blocks.
3. Ship Yard training or work.
4. Makers training or skill in Hydraulic components and knowledge of Hydraulic Flushing.
5. 2-3 years of experience or 2 years in Marine Work Shop or Ship Yard.
