Physics Teacher

Repton School Abu Dhabi is seeking an outstanding Physics Teacher for August 2025.

The ideal candidate will have a proven history of delivering exemplary examination results and teaching at both GCSE and A-Level.

Repton operates across two state-of-the-art campuses on Reem Island, Abu Dhabi.

• Rose Campus (Foundation School): Established in 2013, Rose Campus caters to students from Nursery to Year 2, providing a nurturing environment for approximately 600 young learners.
• Fry Campus: Opened in 2017, Fry Campus serves students from Year 3 to Year 13, including Senior School students who follow iGCSE and A-Level programmes. Fry Campus accommodates approximately 1,800 students, bringing the total capacity across both campuses to 2,300 students.

About the Department:

The Senior School spans year groups from Year 6 to Year 13. We are an all-through school so the majority of students entering the Senior School progress directly from our Junior School who share Fry Campus.

The Science department is an ambitious team of scientists/teachers who have a passion for their subject. The department is continuing to grow as our A-Level cohort expands, and we are looking for a collaborative team member with excellent scientific knowledge and passion to add to an already very successful department.

The structure of the Senior School allows for middle leadership opportunities, including heads of department and heads of year.

Skills, Experience and Responsibilities:

• Qualified Teacher Status; and
• EITHER - Bachelor of Education with PGCE or Masters and relevant experience teaching this subject specialism;
• OR - Bachelor in a subject relevant to teaching specialism plus PGCE/Masters in Education
• Have experience teaching at Key Stage 4 & 5 in a school with an outstanding track record
• Have minimum 2 years post qualification experience
• Have experience teaching in a UK setting or renowned British Curriculum international school
• Be at least 25 years old
