Traffic Management Specialist

We are seeking a detailoriented andanalytical Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Abu Dhabi UnitedArab Emirates. As a key member of our infrastructure maintenanceconstruction and engineering projects you will play a crucial rolein managing costs contracts and commercial aspects of ouroperations.

• Administrate andimplementchange control including the administration ofWorks Order Contract Worksand PurchaseOrders
• Support the Project Manager and DivisionDirector in preparing and submitting SubContractor PaymentCertificates Internal & External Forecasting andAccruals
• Maintain a database of accreditedsubcontractors and advise on procurementstrategy
• Manage the pursuit of Green Claimincome liaising with specialist legal representatives and lossadjusters
• Ensure compliance with statutorylegislation and internal policies related to Commercialprocesses
• Prepare detailed reports on projectcosts budgets and financial forecasts
• Supportthe Commercial Manager in achieving commercially driven objectivesand monitoring Key PerformanceIndicators
• Promote continual improvement withinthe organization and implement effective corrective and preventivemeasures
• Advise colleagues from otherdepartments on Commercial issues relevant to theirwork
• Ensure effective control and evaluation ofkey suppliers and subcontractors
• Conduct sitevisits as necessary to assess project progress andcosts

Qualifications :

• Bachelorsdegree in Quantity Surveying Commercial Management or a relatedfield
• Professional certification such as MRICSor MCInstCES is highly desirable
• Provenexperience in quantity surveying preferably in infrastructuremaintenance projects
• Strong knowledge ofcontract management procurement options and risk managementprocesses
• Excellent communication skills bothwritten and verbal with the ability to interact effectively withvarious stakeholders
• Proficient in MicrosoftOffice suite especially Excel and familiarity with specializedquantity surveying software
• Demonstratedability to work independently meet deadlines and manage multipleprojects simultaneously
• Strong analytical andproblemsolving skills with a keen eye fordetail
• Experience in bidding processes andproposal preparation
• Working experience inconstruction estimation software (CCSCandy)
• Knowledge of UAE construction industrystandards practices and local building codes in AbuDhabi
• PRINCE2 Accreditation isadvantageous
• Ability to adapt to new ideas anddemonstrate flexibility in a dynamic workenvironment
• Strong organizational skills andability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Conductsite visits and work flexibly whenrequired
