Role Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced E-commerce Photographer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce photography, with the ability to produce high-quality images that align with Redtag's brand standards. Depending on experience, the role may expand to include leadership responsibilities within the studio team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Photography Execution
   Capture high-quality images of fashion and still-life products for our e-commerce platforms.
   Ensure consistency in lighting, composition, and styling across all product categories.
   Direct models effectively to achieve desired poses and expressions that reflect the brand's aesthetic.
2. Image Coordination
   Organize and manage image files, including proper foldering and exporting.
   Rename images using product codes to maintain consistency and facilitate easy retrieval.
   Determine and designate hero images for e-commerce listings in accordance with brand guidelines.
   Update and adhere to image guidelines, ensuring all team members are informed of any changes.
   Communicate effectively with the team to ensure seamless workflow and adherence to standards.
3. Studio Operations
   Collaborate with stylists, models, and the production team to meet daily shoot targets of 75-85 products.
   Maintain and manage photography equipment, ensuring all tools are in optimal working condition.
   Monitor inventory of studio consumables and coordinate with the Production Manager for timely replenishment.
4. Team Collaboration
   Participate in regular studio meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of studio processes.
5. Leadership (for Lead Photographer level)
   Supervise and mentor junior photographers, assistant photographers, and stylists.
   Assist in scheduling shoots and managing daily studio workflow.
   Stay updated with industry trends and implement best practices in e-commerce photography.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. Proven experience in e-commerce photography, preferably within the fashion or retail industry.
2. Proficiency in Capture One, Adobe Creative Cloud applications, especially Photoshop, Lightroom, and Bridge.
3. Strong understanding of studio lighting setups, camera equipment, and photography techniques.
4. Experience with image organization, including foldering, exporting, and renaming files using product codes.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
6. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
7. A keen eye for detail and a passion for producing high-quality visual content.
8. A strong photography portfolio showcasing e-commerce work is required.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience in leading a photography team or managing studio operations.
2. Familiarity with content management systems and e-commerce platforms.
3. Knowledge of video production and editing is a plus.
