Danat Al Emarat Hospital is one of very few to encompass a Fetal Medicine Department along with a full-fledged Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Level III, providing care for the most fragile newborns. This has established Danat Al Emarat as a regional referral center for women with high-risk pregnancies.
Role overview
Reporting to the Supervisor, Pharmacy, the Pharmacy Technician role is responsible for providing assistance in the daily pharmaceutical operations by executing pharmacy related and administrative activities including but not limited to preparation and filling of prescriptions, maintenance of pharmacy inventory and ensuring safe and secure storage conditions of pharmaceutical medications and supplies in line with MH and DOH/DHA policies, procedures, guidelines and standards. The incumbent is also responsible for preparing intravenous solutions, admixtures and medications by performing pharmaceutical dosage calculations and using aseptic techniques.

Qualifications
A Diploma in Pharmacy with a minimum course duration of two years is required, along with at least two years of post-qualification experience in the pharmaceutical field. Completion of a recognized specialty qualification as per DOH/DHA certification guidelines and a valid DOH/DHA Medical License.
