Pharmacist

A Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications, providing expert advice on drug usage, and ensuring patients understand their prescriptions. Responsibilities:

1. Dispense medications accurately based on prescriptions from healthcare providers.
2. Provide detailed guidance on proper medication usage, dosages, and potential side effects.
3. Review prescriptions for accuracy, ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards.
4. Advise patients and healthcare professionals on drug interactions and alternatives.
5. Maintain and update patient medication records.
6. Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products.
7. Monitor and manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed.
8. Stay updated on new pharmaceutical developments, medical advancements, and regulatory changes.
9. Ensure strict adherence to pharmacy laws, ethical practices, and safety guidelines.
10. Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance patient treatment plans and medication effectiveness.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
2. Valid pharmacist license to practice in Abu Dhabi.
3. Previous experience in a hospital, retail, or clinical pharmacy setting is preferred.
4. Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and medical terminology.
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
6. High attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.
7. Ability to handle confidential patient information with discretion.
8. Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and electronic health records.
9. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
