Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain a high level of customer service on the gym floor.
  2. Ensure brand standards are upheld on the gym floor.
  3. Provide market-leading fitness expertise.
  4. Engage with members, providing fitness and motivational support.
  5. Perform across all Fitness KPIs.
  6. Ensure attentiveness on the gym floor, assisting members with corrections and demonstrating a high standard of instruction and advice on exercise execution for safety and effectiveness.
  7. Ensure clean and fully operational facilities at all times and have a clear understanding of our business game plan.
  8. Educate and enforce Fitness First etiquette and regulations, ensuring members clean equipment after use and return it to their allocated storage area.
  9. Support all club events and actively promote Fitness First services to maximize members' gym experience.
  10. Maintain relevant communication channels with members to accommodate feedback and ensure they feel welcome and valued.
  11. Use members' names when interacting and politely introduce yourself to members you do not know.
  12. Deliver high-quality personal training programs and provide unrivaled session delivery and support to your client base.

Training & Development:

  1. Undergo and complete certification for MY ZONE, 6D, and RISE training via the Fitness First Education Academy.
  2. Have in-depth knowledge of My Zone, including using the belt at least 12 times monthly.
  3. Stay updated with the latest developments in the fitness industry and ensure product knowledge is current.
  4. Complete a minimum of 3 CPD points via IDEA Club Connect per quarter and one live course annually.
  5. Engage in consistent 121s with FTL or HFM for professional development.
  6. Complete Personal Training qualification in line with UAEReps requirements.
  7. Conduct personal training sessions and build your business to progress to Advanced PT in line with the PT model.

Minimum Performance Criteria:

  1. Fully understand and deliver company Fitness KPIs.
  2. Wear full Fitness First uniform and name badge at all times.
  3. Complete 1 x Floor Shift per day wearing free help T-shirt.
  4. Wear Grey PT T-shirt while conducting PT or new member induction sessions.
  5. Utilize success diary fully.
  6. Deliver own PT sessions and new member induction sessions to company standards.
  7. Maintain brand standards on gym floors.
  8. Conduct a minimum of one 6D class per week (under FM and CGM discretion).
  9. Assist CGM, FOHM, MSRM, HFM, and GXM in their roles if assistance is required.

Performance Administrative Functions:

  1. Complete monthly goal setting with FTL or HFM / CGM.
  2. Update and analyze daily personal training and new member induction sessions on the Fitness Enterprise System.
  3. Update daily rota, ensuring all information is correct and clients are confirmed the day before.
  4. Ensure 7 days advance client booking.
  5. Inconsistencies in achieving all PT3 Fitness KPIs may result in a 9h shift pattern as per business requirements.
  6. Ensure personal training clients sign each session after completion and keep all contracts readily available within the club.
  7. Assist FTL & HFM with rota administrative functions.
  8. Attend at least 1 x coaching session with FTL or HFM per week.
  9. Maintain REPs certification by completing 10 CPD points per year.
  10. Assist FTL & HFM in the weekly maintenance checklist.
  11. Inform members of the expiry of personal training sessions and complete necessary contract extension forms.
  12. Ensure members sign the cancellation policy every time they start a personal training contract.
  13. By the 25th of each month, provide FTL/HFM with a copy of your next month's business plan.
  14. At the end of each month, provide all personal training session white copies with client signatures to FTL/HFM for auditing.
  15. Attend all required business meetings.

Effectively Liaise with Other Departments:

  1. Promote efficiency and team spirit in all departments.
  2. Take ownership of your gym floor and inform FTL/HFM & GM of any maintenance or general issues.
  3. Promote the brand and club at all times, even outside of working hours.
