People Operations Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive People Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and manage ClearGrid's people operations, HR policies, employee benefits, and personnel management. You will play a critical role in fostering a positive, productive, and supportive work environment for our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Policy & Compliance
   Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies aligned with company goals and regulatory requirements.
   Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across all operations.
2. Employee Benefits & Personnel Management
   Manage employee benefits programs and handle inquiries to ensure employee satisfaction.
   Oversee personnel management including onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining accurate employee records.
3. People Operations & Culture
   Act as a trusted advisor for managers and employees, providing support on HR-related matters.
   Build initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture.
   Foster a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative environment across remote and hybrid teams.
4. HR Operations
   Maintain HR systems and tools to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
   Partner with leadership to address workforce planning and organizational structure needs.
   Support performance management processes including feedback and development plans.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Proven experience in human resources, personnel management, or people operations.
Hands-on experience with HR software (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, or similar).

Skills:
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid/remote setting.

Certifications: Professional HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or CIPD are a plus.
