Job Description: The People and Admin Lead at Travel Zone will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources and administrative operations. This role involves managing employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and ensuring a productive and efficient workplace environment. The People and Admin Lead will report to the People Director and follow Company-wide HR policies and procedures. They will work closely with the leadership team to ensure the smooth running of HR and administrative functions.
Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
Oversee all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding.
Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.
Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
Manage payroll, benefits administration, and employee records.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations.
Prepare and present HR reports to senior management.
Support the leadership team in strategic planning and organizational development initiatives.
Administrative:
Oversee office administration functions, including office supplies, facility management, and vendor relationships.
Coordinate and manage office space planning, including seating arrangements and workspace allocation.
Ensure the office environment is well-maintained, safe, and conducive to productivity.
Plan and execute company events, meetings, and employee engagement activities.
Manage administrative budgets, including office supplies and facilities expenses.
Supervise administrative staff and provide guidance on daily operational tasks.
Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for employees as needed.
Implement and manage office policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
Prepare and present administrative reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience in the travel industry is a plus.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
Experience in managing employee training and development programs.
Knowledge of international HR practices and regulations.
