Job description
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' medical history, symptoms, and perform thorough examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as echocardiograms and cardiac catheterizations
- Diagnose and treat cardiac conditions, including congenital heart defects, acquired heart diseases, and heart valve disorders
- Perform complex surgical procedures, such as congenital heart defect repair, heart valve surgery, and heart transplantation
- Utilize advanced surgical techniques and technologies to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor post-operative progress and manage complications as necessary
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in pediatric cardiac surgery through continuous learning and professional development
Requirements
- Medical degree
- Valid license to practice as a Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon
- Completion of residency and fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery
- Proven experience and expertise in pediatric cardiac surgeries
- Strong knowledge of advanced surgical techniques and technologies in pediatric cardiac surgery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide comprehensive patient care
- Detail-oriented mindset and ability to analyze complex cardiac conditions in pediatric patients
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
