PE Teacher

Duties and Responsibilities:The teacher will…

• Be directly accountable to the school principal
• Communicate and engage students effectively in the subject matter
• Assist with the organization of courses of study in cooperation with school learning objectives and in compliance with accreditation processes
• Prepare a systematic plan for instruction that includes: a statement of general and specific learning objectives with time allotted for each unit, strategies employed during instruction to increase student engagement in the learning process, and methods of evaluation
• Keep accurate, complete, and timely records of student's grades and attendance
• Evaluate and grade fairly by grading policies
• Assume responsibility at all times for students assigned to his/her care

Give prompt attention to routine classroom matters:

• Textbook and equipment records
• Student records (cumulative folders, report cards, conference records, etc.)
• Accurate reporting of classroom

Specific qualifications required for this role:

• Teaching Credential/License

Additional requirements for this role:

The successful candidate should have:

• Bachelor's degree in physical education.
• 1-year experience in UAE schools.
• Proficient communication skills in English reading and writing, Arabic is a plus but not necessary.
• Experience in American curriculum school is desired but not necessary.
