We are looking for a PDS Project Technical Engineer for one of our clients with the following details:

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 6 months - extendable based on project requirement
Qualification and Experience Required:
Relevant exposure in Metro environment, as well as Middle East Environment. Profile should have relevant technical experience in 33KV, Traction and LV.
Power Distribution System for Reinstatement project - HV and LV
Minimum 13 years of experience
BSc degree in engineering or related field
Responsibilities:
Manage every aspect of the Project Engineering including project specifications, scope of work, budget, risk, planning, execution supervision, verification & validation.
Ensure by diligent application of design review, specifications and effective technical supervision that the projects are delivered on time and on budget
Effectively apply company methodologies and Project Management procedures and enforce compliance to project standards.
Prepare design, specifications, scope of work, Project Definition Statement
Support Project Management team in preparing Planning, Budgeting RFP and technical review of Supplier offers, technical supervision of works, testing and hand over.
Monitor and report progress, whilst minimizing exposure and risk on projects, recognising and addressing project issues as and when they arise. Support programme management to identify impacts and effective mitigations for programme critical paths.
Review and validate consultants technical work, report, selected tenderers and appointed contractors/subcontractors technical offers to prepare applications for Permits to Enter (PTE) and Permits to Work (PTW) in accordance with railway procedures. Enable timely reviews and grant of PTE and PTW
Coordinate Contractor applications for Asset Configuration Change Authorisation for all system changes/upgrades prior to installation
Coordinate and work to expedite all Client, Consultants, tenderers or any contractors /subcontractors requests for information, reviews, No Objection Certificates and other such activities
Assist in the conduct of Safety and Operational risk assessments of the designs at concept and detailed design stages
Review and align Project Plans within company and with Contractors/Sub-Contractors;
Review and analyse Project Safety and Risks to all aspects of work being carried out by the Contractor/Sub-Contractor
Coordinate and ensure Contractor/Sub-Contractors work has no impact on the railway service opening and day to day operations
Minimize exposure and risk on all aspects of the Operational Railway
Ensure relevant documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
