PDI Technician X3 | AF Motors

We are currently looking to recruit experienced PDI Technicians to work within our operations based in Dubai.

JOB PURPOSE:

1. Carry out PDI and accessories fitment as per the SOP.
2. Should be able to perform minor mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
3. Perform polishing of cars if required.
4. Ensure customer cars are kept clean at any point of PDI operation.
5. Ensure all equipment are in proper working condition including vehicle lifts.
6. Follow company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any accident to section foreman.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Produce quality work with minimum job stoppage.
2. Ensure that the SOP is followed in all sections at all times.
3. Actively participate in 5S and Kaizen initiatives and activities in PDI Centre.
4. Ensure company safety policies and procedures are followed always.
5. Ensure to go the extra mile whenever required. Ensure teamwork and performance enhancement.

JOB CONTEXT:

1. Focus on PDI objective of zero delay and zero defect.
2. Actively participate in 5S & Kaizen activities in PDI.
3. Comply with company and distributor policy towards achievement of objectives and targets.
4. Ensure Customer receives his/her car in pristine condition, defect-free & delivered on time.
5. Ensure communication with team and section foreman to strengthen supply chain.
6. Maintain workplace efficiency and safety.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. ITI (TECHNICAL SCHOOL) or DIPLOMA in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
2. 2 - 3 years experience in Automotive service department.
3. LMV driver's license in home country/country of residence/workplace.
