Job description

Job Responsibilities

  1. Process and manage payroll for employees accurately and on time.
  2. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding payroll.
  3. Maintain accurate records of employee data, including hours worked and taxes deducted.
  4. Answer employee inquiries and resolve any payroll-related issues in a timely manner.
  5. Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management.
  6. Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate employee data and budgeting.
  7. Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations.
  8. Process and distribute employee benefits, such as health insurance and retirement savings.
  9. Assist with year-end payroll reporting and tax filings.
  10. Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  2. At least 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing and administration.
  3. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred.
  4. Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  5. Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
  6. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  9. Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
