Payroll Officer

We are looking for a Payroll Officer to be based in Abu Dhabi Headquarters. The Payroll Officer is responsible for part or all of the payroll process, ensuring the timely and accurate administration of employee compensation by established policies and within the required turnaround times.

Responsibilities

1. Executing all policies and procedures regarding payroll administration and processing.
2. Entry and follow-up of employees’ deductions, loans, additions, commissions, unpaid leaves.
3. Check if all newcomers have been entered into the system.
4. Calculate the final dues for leavers or transferred employees by local laws and the Group’s policies and procedures.
5. Process and issue employee monthly pay slips and ensure their distribution to the employees.
6. Prepare monthly salary entries and provisions by accounting standards and principles and each BU’s requirements.
7. Knowledge about WPS and all aspects of payroll processes while maintaining up-to-date payroll records in ERP software.
8. Supervising accurate data records, processing monthly payrolls, reconciliation of payroll figures with the finance department, ensuring audit compliance, preparing & reporting on monthly MIS, providing staff guidance & procedures related to payroll, and ensuring HR services provided are as per agreed service levels.
9. Maintain employment records and individually handle HR-related queries.
10. Maintain employees' leave records, leave calculation, and leave rules.
11. Maintain confidentiality of all data.

Requirements

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in Payroll management.
2. Degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or a similar field (A Bachelor’s degree or a CA (or equivalent) is a plus).
3. Experience in managing the payroll of over 200 employees.
4. Ability to lead system implementation and identify the requirements.
5. Familiar with UAE Labour laws.
6. Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel.
7. Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
