PAUT Technician

Responsibilities

1. To take all precautions to protect the environment.
2. Work in such a manner as to ensure self-safety as well as that of co-workers.
3. Avail themselves of company internal and any other required training programs as and when required by management.
4. Participate in daily toolbox talks and follow instructions from site coordinators/crew leaders.
5. Use and maintain all safety devices provided for job execution.
6. Maintain and properly use all tools under their control & use the right tools for the job.
7. Provide fellow employees help with safety attitudes and requirements.
8. Report for work in clothing suitable for work, ensuring clothes and jewelry worn do not constitute a hazard.
9. Perform work in a safe and alert manner, being aware of the possibility of unseen dangers or situations.
10. Are not expected to sacrifice their own or others’ safety to perform their duties.
11. Perform Advanced NDT jobs such as Tube Inspection, Tank Floor inspection, and Long and Short-range Guided wave applications in line with approved procedural requirements.
12. List out the required probes and accessories according to the type of scope and application for various Advanced NDT Techniques.
13. Interpret data accurately without giving false calls.
14. Prepare final inspection reports as per approved procedural requirements.
15. Perform inspection activities as per project scope and site conditions to avoid waiting and wastage of resources.
16. Interpret troubleshooting methods to avoid maintenance on Advanced NDT equipment.
17. Troubleshoot problems occurring in all Advanced NDT equipment.
