Job description

Role & Responsibilities

  • To achieve parts departments plans and budget to achieve sales and financial targets.
  • To maintain the stock / inventory under the guidelines of management.
  • To ensure the implementation of all the procedures / rules and quality / QMA audit.
  • To assist in preparation of departmental / individual targets and qualities objectives.
  • To suggest / assist organizational structure with job description and responsibilities.
  • Monitoring and ensuring the Parts Advisors are following up customer orders.
  • Ensuring a proper stocking of all parts for annual / perpetual inventory.
  • Analyzing and discussing the monthly stock structure and availability.
  • To ensure the accessories and lifestyle displays are up-to-date and campaigns are running as per the agreed marketing planner.
  • To develop parts stockholding at levels to ensure first-time availability of parts at least 90%.
  • Monitor continuously all factors affecting the operations and implement changes in a timely manner.
  • Monitor continuously stock levels to ensure minimum obsolete stock.
  • To ensure proper communication and escalation of parts-related issues through the correct channels with the manufacturers.
  • To administer and resolve all customer parts inquiries and complaints in a competent and timely manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service, maintaining standards required to meet the business objectives.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by translating dealership objectives to consistently meet and exceed their expectations.
  • Continuously suggest innovative approaches to provide customized customer relations solutions.
  • Promote AGMC to create public awareness of commitment to customer satisfaction & service excellence.
  • Establish and maintain a participative and supportive team culture amongst all team members.
  • Communicate clear performance objectives and individual performance targets to all team members.
  • Contribute to building a positive team spirit by fostering the team's commitment to the goals and objectives.
  • Encourage open & honest interaction & communication with all departments and the Department Manager, inspiring and promoting mutual benefits & respect towards achieving common goals in the best interest of the Company.
  • Establish and communicate a compelling and inspired vision, create competitive winning strategies and plans, ensuring dealership strategies are aligned with company objectives.
  • Manage, motivate colleagues, train, and develop the knowledge and skills of the team and ensure that compliance with procedures is followed.
  • Contribute to strategy and policymaking as required.
  • Maintain the highest levels of personal integrity, personal development, quality standards, and business ethics.
  • To achieve parts department's internal sales and external purchase plans and budget to achieve financial targets.
  • To maintain a stock turn value of 5 or higher.
  • Ensure first-time availability of parts at least 90%.
  • Completion of training plan for all staff.
  • Maintain excellent levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage logistics lead-time while balancing landed cost and service level and lead-time.
  • Review and report local supplier performance.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly internal meetings with different parts of the team.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

2. Experience:

  • Proven experience in parts sales, order and inventory management, and warehousing.
  • B2C and B2B sales and customer management knowledge.

3. Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Keyloop software and Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills.

10. Certifications: BMW Parts Manager certification.
