The Parts Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of parts within the organization. The primary purpose is to ensure the availability of high-quality parts, maintain efficient inventory control, and contribute to the overall success of the organization by optimizing parts-related processes.
Proactively manage EXEED parts ordering and inventory on a monthly basis. Implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize shortages and excess stock. Manage emergency ordering and VOR (vehicle off road) ordering to time bound requirements. Ensure all back order and emergency orders are managed to fulfilment within the service centers requirements of customer vehicles. Ensure orders are financially reconciled at month end to meet EXEED financial processes and compliance. Supervise and lead a team, providing training and fostering a collaborative working environment. Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and returns. Implement and monitor quality control measures for incoming parts and outgoing parts. Collaborate and manage monthly P&L and forecasting models. Interact with customers to understand their parts needs and provide exceptional service. Conduct by annual stock counts to ensure stock accuracy.
Oversee day-to-day operations of the parts department. Utilize computerized inventory management systems for tracking and reporting. Implement manual controls and monitoring. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Ensure all SOP and SLA are adhered to within the business. Identify and implement process improvements for increased efficiency.
