Parts Inventory Control Executive | Al-Futtaim Automotive | FAMCO

Overview of the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Parts Inventory Control Executive to join our team. The main purpose of the role is to ensure the timely availability and efficient supply of parts, while managing stock value and minimizing obsolescence, all under the guidance of the Procurement & Inventory Manager.

What You Will Do:

  1. Monitor and adjust system parameters in consultation with the Inventory Control Manager.
  2. Review order proposals from the computer system and make necessary adjustments.
  3. Analyze daily critical reports and take appropriate action.
  4. Review back-order reports and work with suppliers for faster delivery.
  5. Process customer orders promptly and provide expected arrival dates to sales teams.
  6. Follow up on back orders and expedite goods in transit with logistics providers.
  7. Track sales of parts in order stock to prevent them from becoming obsolete.
  8. Analyze stock aging reports and push for sales of slow-moving items.
  9. Regularly process dead stock reports to ensure healthy inventory.
  10. Coordinate with suppliers for buy-back of non-moving parts and manage returns efficiently.

Required Skills to Be Successful:

  1. Engineering Graduate or Diploma holder in a technical field.
  2. At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Supply Chain Operations within a respected automotive dealership, with 2 years in Commercial Vehicle (CV) & Construction Equipment (CE) business.
  3. Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
  4. Experience with Syncron software is essential.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  6. Experience with SAP ERP is a plus.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  8. Excellent planning and organizational skills.

About the Team:

You will be a key member of the Parts Department, reporting to the Material Inventory and Pricing Manager. The team is focused on ensuring parts availability and quick supply, while keeping stock levels and obsolescence in check.
