Roles & Responsibilities
- Process workshop parts orders and recommend additional related repair items.
- Gain superior product knowledge and understanding of vehicle components to effectively help the workshop operation.
- Interact with the Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.
- Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer requests.
- Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed.
- Research and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers.
- Maintain accountability for inventory accuracy by correctly charging, pulling, and issuing parts in a precise manner and according to process.
- Provide a high level of personal service to the work floor staff by assisting them in identifying and obtaining needed parts.
