Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Process workshop parts orders and recommend additional related repair items.
  2. Gain superior product knowledge and understanding of vehicle components to effectively help the workshop operation.
  3. Interact with the Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.
  4. Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer requests.
  5. Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed.
  6. Research and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers.
  7. Maintain accountability for inventory accuracy by correctly charging, pulling, and issuing parts in a precise manner and according to process.
  8. Provide a high level of personal service to the work floor staff by assisting them in identifying and obtaining needed parts.
