POSITION SUMMARY:
The Partners Relations Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with an extensive network of key business entities, including government, corporate and training providers in Dubai. Works to increase business opportunities and thereby maximize IMA's reputation and opportunities to build membership and CMA candidates in the country.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develop strategies and plans to serve IMA's members in a way consistent with the goals of IMA.
- Build relationships with key entities: government, professional institutes, academics, and training companies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop relationships with corporate employers. Through market research, identify opportunities for IMA to meet the specific needs of organizations related to strengthening their finance and management accounting functions. Propose programs, products, services and other offerings for development that support and/or enhance IMA's efforts to establish and build relationships with companies, including bundles and other value-adding options.
- Develop and execute a targeted outreach to increase IMA's approved provider network.
- Present the benefits of IMA products and services and work to enhance existing relationships.
- Engage IMA local Chapters/Councils, volunteer leaders and members in outreach, awareness building and relationship management.
- Track and record activity in SalesForce.
- Attend related events, such as conferences and seminars, and provide feedback and information on current market and creative trends.
- Work with Partner Relations team members and other IMA internal groups to conceptualize, develop and execute new and unique revenue-generating opportunities across all lines of business.
- Work with IMA Global staff and IMA regional office teams to meet expectations and business needs.
- Support marketing and communication activity in related areas.
- Collaborate with IMA team for marketing and communications, key account management, academic relationships, CMA and CSCA exams, and administrative duties.
- Deliver Info Sessions/Presentations and travel on the job when required.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES and OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree, five years related work experience in relationship development.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- General computer proficiency (MS Office) and SalesForce knowledge.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Prior association experience as volunteer or paid staff an advantage.
- Have good business acumen and a keen insight into market feedback.
- Strong sense of teamwork and collaborate well with team players.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- This position is located in Dubai, UAE.
- Strong written and oral English and Arabic communication skills.
- Excellent communication and listening skills, positive attitude and result driven are required for this position.
- Self-starter who is able to set priorities and work well independently as well as on a global team.
- Work experience at a membership association, or not-for-profit organizational helpful.
