Partner Solutions Architect - GenAI/ML, AWS

In the Amazon Partner Organization (APO), we work backwards from our customer's and partner's most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. APO teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture.

As part of APO, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of GenAI Services with an initial focus on the GenAI Infrastructure Layer including Amazon Sagemaker, AWS Neuron with Inferentia, Trainium machine learning (ML) chip, and instances powered by GPUs and purpose-built ML silicon, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. AWS APO EMEA is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing partner accounts in the region. This is Specialist PSA position as part of the APO EMEA team, with 50% of the time dedicated to support the MENAT region for GenAI/ML Services in a pre-sales role.

Key job responsibilities

1. In this role, you will be responsible for defining, building, and deploying targeted strategies to accelerate customer and partner adoption of our GenAI services and solutions across industry verticals. You will engage with product owners to influence product direction and help our customers tap into new markets by utilizing GenAI along with AWS Services.
2. Work directly with our partners around developing joint-GTM plans, joint-customer engagements, external/internal evangelism, and developing demos and proof-of-concepts of GenAI end applications/use cases with large models and key infrastructure architecture blocks.
3. Possess a business and technology background that enables you to lead and drive engagements with startups and large enterprises. You have domain expertise in GenAI and key ML use cases.
4. Articulate the benefits of our GenAI-related services and solutions to data scientists and C-Level executives. Have a good understanding of the GenAI market trends, ecosystem, opportunities, and are passionate about market development and evangelism.
5. Interact, communicate, and partner with teams within AWS (product, solutions architecture, sales, marketing, and professional services) and externally with customers and 3rd party model and infrastructure providers.
6. Drive the development of the GTM plan for building and scaling GenAI on AWS, interact with customers and partners directly to understand their business problems.
7. Work with 3rd party model and infrastructure providers and our solutions architects to help them define and implement scalable GenAI solutions to solve business challenges.
8. Represent the voice of the customer and partner; collaborate with field and central teams to bring customer and partner feedback to product teams.
9. Provide advanced technical knowledge to your aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers' largest and most critical business challenges.
10. Own the technical bar for specialist technical artifacts and standards.
11. Collaborate with your GTM colleagues to provide technical insights into GTM strategy and support field marketing to execute local technical events, campaigns, and customer engagements.
12. Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit and AWS re: Invent.
13. Guide and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts aligned to your customers. Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population to help them understand how to integrate new AWS solutions into customer architectures.

The APO EMEA team positions AWS as the best place to run industry relevant workloads. Our team helps customers and partners to migrate workloads and data to the AWS cloud while providing a secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure for customers to innovate and unlock new potential. As a Specialist Solutions Architect on the GenAI team, you will create scaled solutions for AWS GenAI services, and expand adoption of customer portfolios with Data. This position will help customers adopt AWS GenAI services to run effectively on the AWS cloud.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
2. 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
3. 5+ years management of technical, customer facing resources
4. 3+ years of experience in GenAI and/or AI/ML technical experience
5. Bachelor and/or Master degree in the field of study relevant to Data&AI

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
2. UAE National with family book
