Para Legal Officer

This position is responsible for providing paralegal support services & deliver the required outcomes within the organization's established legal system and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drafting board minutes, POAs, and cover memos.
2. Facilitating the incorporation of new entities and establishing branches while ensuring compliance.
3. Maintaining corporate status, renewing licenses, and fulfilling regulatory requirements.
4. Providing regular updates on legal developments and legislative reforms in relevant jurisdictions.
5. Handling billing and invoicing processes.
6. Managing filing and contract-related tasks.
7. Preparing reports, including those related to litigation and trademarks.
8. Filing, renewing, and maintaining trademarks.
9. Conducting various legal research activities.
10. Reviewing and drafting templatized/basic corporate and commercial documents, including NDAs.
11. Collecting and analyzing data using pre-set tools and methods.
12. Compiling data and operating data management systems, offering support and advice.
13. Working independently and providing technical guidance when needed for analyzing data trends for decision-making.
14. Organizing and preparing complex documents, responsible for gathering and summarizing data for special reports.
15. Handling regulatory filings for all corporate entities.
16. Managing renewals, amendments, and corporate actions based on the instructions of the General Counsel.
17. Providing drafting and translation services for formal correspondences.

Education:

1. Bachelor's degree in law / LLB / JD
2. CS

Experience:

1. 3-5 years experience in a similar role
2. Experience in a multi-unit retail environment is a plus
