Supervisor for Painting & Blasting for Ship Repairs

Location: Kezad, Abu Dhabi

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month

Responsibilities

1. Supervision & Coordination: Manage painting and blasting crews.
2. Surface Preparation: Oversee sandblasting, hydro-blasting, and other preparation techniques before painting.
3. Coating Application: Ensure correct application of marine coatings, primers, and anti-corrosion treatments.
4. Quality Control: Inspect surfaces, monitor paint thickness, and verify adherence.
5. Scaffolding: Have experience in scaffolding.

Qualifications

1. 5 – 10 years hands-on experience in marine painting, blasting, and corrosion protection.
2. Diploma and Certification in NACE Level 1.
3. Strong understanding of HSE.
4. Experience in Painting & Blasting: 5 years (Required).
5. NACE level 1 certificate or Diploma (Required).
