Painter

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying high-quality paint finishes, and ensuring customer satisfaction across various residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and removing old paint or wallpaper.
• Mix and match paints according to specifications and color requirements.
• Apply primers, paints, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Ensure proper coverage and finish quality to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Create decorative finishes such as faux painting, texturing, or stenciling when required.
• Collaborate with team members and other trades to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, properly storing and caring for tools and equipment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures when handling paints and working at heights.
• Provide accurate estimates of time and materials needed for projects.
• Offer color and finish recommendations to customers based on their preferences and the project requirements.
• Keep detailed records of materials used and work completed for each project.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Painter (8 years minimum) in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Proficiency in various painting techniques and application methods.
• Strong knowledge of different paint types, their properties, and appropriate uses.
• Expertise in surface preparation, including cleaning, sanding, and priming.
• Demonstrated ability to mix paints and match colors accurately.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to work in various positions and handle painting equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret project specifications and blueprints.
• Understanding of color theory and basic design principles.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in painting is preferred.
• Safety certifications related to working with hazardous materials and at heights are a plus.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and settings.
• Basic math skills for calculating paint quantities and mixing ratios.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to different job sites.
