Job Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on various packaging machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software issues on packaging equipment using advanced diagnostic tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules and record maintenance activities to adhere to regulatory and safety standards.
• Train operational staff on proper machine usage and best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce operational errors.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement modifications that improve machine functionality and productivity.
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls, providing on-site support to resolve critical machinery malfunctions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of service actions, repairs, and parts inventory for tracking and reporting purposes.
• Interact with clients to provide technical support and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction with machine performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to continually enhance service quality and knowledge.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new packaging machines, ensuring they meet operational requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in servicing packaging machinery, ideally in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
• Certifications in mechanical or electrical systems, such as HVAC certification or PLC programming, are highly desirable.
• Previous experience with specific packaging machinery brands or technologies, such as shrink wrap or labeling machines, is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to facilitate effective troubleshooting.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities and a strong commitment to safety protocols while working in industrial settings.
• Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in a second language is advantageous for working in diverse environments.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy machinery components and perform work in varied environmental conditions, including confined spaces.
