Packaging Executive, ROW Packaging Programs

Are you interested in improving packaging in Amazon's supply chain? If packaging waste makes you cringe, Amazon's global packaging organization may be the place for you. As part of the Packaging ROW team, this position is primarily responsible for driving analytics for the packaging team. They are also responsible for coordinating with multiple regional teams to deliver cross-functional packaging programs, creating relevant dashboards to provide adequate visibility on both input and output metrics, and closely collaborating with the central analytics team. In addition to the analytics support, the candidate will be responsible for driving multiple on-ground packaging initiatives, closely liaising with Fulfillment operations and Packaging labs. This position is within the Packaging Innovation organization, and the work directly impacts global packaging automation and reduction goals in support of Amazon's Climate Pledge. This role includes limited travel to fulfillment centers.

Key Job Responsibilities

1. Creating dashboards and supporting regional teams with required data mining.
2. Conduct both in-person and virtual packaging testing and document results.
3. Review 3rd-party test reports demonstrating high attention to detail.
4. Communicate with vendors and internal customers in a timely and concise manner.
5. Record activity and maintain data integrity in a variety of systems and tools.
6. Provide packaging feedback to other Amazon teams.
7. Participate in varied Packaging onsite and virtual support projects.
8. Review customer feedback.
9. Manage multiple projects and varying tasks simultaneously.
10. Support project launches and trials.
11. Support OPA initiatives.

Qualifications

1. Experience in SQL and creating QuickSight dashboards.
2. Willingness to travel.
3. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
4. Exposure to ERP operations dashboard and tools.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to multitask and manage multiple sites simultaneously with attention to detail.
7. Engineering graduate preferable.
8. Proficiency in SQL and any relevant analytics certifications.
