Job Summary: We're searching for a Packaging Designer to join our group. The Package Developer must have a solid profile with a variety of samples that demonstrates their creativity, attention to detail as well as knowledge of market and consumer patterns. Experience with different product packaging materials is handy.
Responsibilities and Obligations:
Work very closely with the manager to create and specify consistent brand messaging and looks on all plan styles.
Team up with cross-functional groups including item style, organization, retail operations, advertising and marketing, and creative to understand their requirements.
Idea and produce eye-catching layouts that are on brand, on budget and comply with package/display specifications.
Evaluate consumer and market patterns for packaging products and perform seasonal creative reviews as needed.
Develop and ensure the quality, precision and distribution of appropriately prepared, full artwork that complies with brand requirements and specifications.
Accountable for conceptualizing and managing projects to conclusion including new item launches and product packaging maintenance exercises.
Work closely with the design and leadership team to establish new retail packaging.
Lead the package design process including thinking, laying out and producing models.
Collaborate with Supervisor to prioritize jobs, manage workload, and develop efficiencies.
Knowledge & Background Requirements:
Expertise of the printing industry as it relates to Packaging Prepress.
Wonderful business, interpersonal skills and detail-oriented.
Ability to work under pressure without compromising performance or precision in a deadline-oriented environment.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Capability to operate in a highly collaborative team environment.
Must be able to multi-task within a hectic workplace.
2-4 years of experience in graphic design with a focus on packaging design.
Bachelor's degree in graphic design or comparable work experience.
Have a solid sense of layout and personal experience in a retail environment.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and InDesign).
