Job description

Khalid Bin Sultan Al Qasimi Humanitarian Foundation (KSQF) is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Outreach & Fundraising Manager to support efforts in securing resources and increasing the Foundation’s visibility. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to build and maintain partnerships and secure funding for the Foundation. This role involves managing donor relationships, coordinating fundraising events, and ensuring that the Foundation meets its financial goals through effective fundraising and partnership development. Additionally, the role includes marketing and outreach management to promote the Foundation strategically.

Accountabilities

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and outreach strategies to raise awareness of the Foundation's mission, programs, and impact.
  2. Oversee the creation of content, including newsletters, reports, articles, press releases, and social media posts, ensuring messaging consistency across all platforms.
  3. Manage the Foundation’s digital presence, including website updates and social media channels.
  4. Foster relationships with media outlets, influencers, and community partners to enhance the Foundation’s public profile.
  5. Plan events, campaigns, and promotional activities that engage stakeholders and generate awareness of our work.
  6. Identify potential events for KSQF to take part in.
  7. Develop and implement comprehensive partnership and fundraising strategies to support the Foundation’s mission and goals.
  8. Identify and research potential partners and donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations.
  9. Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective partners and donors.
  10. Organize and coordinate fundraising events, campaigns, and activities.
  11. Maintain accurate records of donor information and fundraising activities in the Foundation’s database.
  12. Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and donor communications to secure funding and maintain donor relationships.
  13. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising efforts, track donor engagement providing reports to the Management.
  14. Collaborate with the Management to align fundraising efforts with financial planning.

General

  1. Work closely with program teams to develop success stories, impact reports, and case studies for use in outreach and fundraising efforts.
  2. Analyze data from marketing and fundraising activities to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Contribute to overall organizational strategy development.
  4. Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in all fundraising and partnership activities.
  5. Provide regular updates and presentations to the Management on partnership and fundraising progress.
  6. Attend and represent the Foundation in events, conferences, and networking opportunities when needed.
  7. Any other tasks assigned by the Management.

Occupational Health & Safety

  1. Compliance with workplace policies and procedures for risk identification, risk assessment, and risk control.
  2. Active participation in activities associated with the management of workplace health and safety.
  3. Identification and reporting of health and safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries, and property damage at the workplace.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Strong knowledge of partnership and fundraising principles, strategies, and best practices.
  2. Strong knowledge of marketing and outreach in the social sector.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Proven ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with partners and donors.
  5. Strong organizational and project management skills.
  6. Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting software, and fundraising CRM systems.
  7. Ability to interpret and present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  8. Knowledge of legal and ethical standards in partnership, fundraising, and financial activities.
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  10. Strong English language business writing skills.
  11. Arabic fluency is a plus.

Job Requirements

Experience & Qualification

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in partnership development, fundraising, marketing, financial management, or a related field.

Knowledge & Skills

  1. Strong knowledge of partnership and fundraising principles, strategies, and best practices.
  2. Strong knowledge of marketing and outreach in the social sector.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Proven ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with partners and donors.
  5. Strong organizational and project management skills.
  6. Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting software, and fundraising CRM systems.
  7. Ability to interpret and present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  8. Knowledge of legal and ethical standards in partnership, fundraising, and financial activities.

  11. Arabic fluency is a plus.
  12. UAE National preferred.
