Job Description:

An orthopedic doctor, also known as an orthopedist or orthopedic surgeon, diagnoses and treats conditions that affect the musculoskeletal system: bones, muscles, joints, ligaments, tendons, and soft tissues.

Responsibilities:

1. Taking patients' histories and using specialized equipment to determine the extent of a fracture or injury, and determining the best mode of treatment.
2. Performing blood tests to check for degenerative bone conditions.
3. Strengthening an area of the body through exercises, ultrasounds, and strength training.
4. Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
