Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' dental and facial structure to diagnose orthodontic problems
- Develop customized treatment plans and explain options to patients and their families
- Utilize various orthodontic appliances, such as braces, aligners, and retainers, to correct dental irregularities
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Collaborate with other dental specialists and a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and proper care of orthodontic appliances
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in the field of orthodontics through continuous learning and professional development
Requirements
- Dental degree
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating orthodontic problems
- Strong knowledge of orthodontic principles, practices, and treatment techniques
- Expertise in utilizing various orthodontic appliances, such as braces, aligners, and retainers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
- Detail-oriented mindset and ability to analyze dental and facial structure
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong problem-solving skills to address complex orthodontic cases
