Job description
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' dental conditions and diagnose orthodontic issues, such as malocclusions and misalignments
- Develop comprehensive orthodontic treatment plans tailored to patients' needs and goals
- Provide orthodontic care, including the installation, adjustment, and removal of braces, aligners, and other orthodontic appliances
- Monitor patients' progress throughout treatment and make necessary adjustments
- Collaborate with other dental professionals, such as dentists and oral surgeons, to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and their families about oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining treatment results
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date dental records and documentation
- Stay updated on the latest research, advancements, and best practices in the field of orthodontics
- Adhere to professional and ethical standards in patient care
Requirements
- Dental degree and valid license to practice as an Orthodontist
- Specialization or fellowship training in Orthodontics
- Proven experience in providing orthodontic care and implementing treatment plans
- Sound knowledge of orthodontic principles, techniques, and treatment options
- Experience with various orthodontic appliances, including braces and aligners
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary dental team
- Detail-oriented mindset and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
