Oracle ERP Techno-Functional Specialist - TP

Oracle ERP Techno-Functional Specialist will work independently to manage EBS system configuration. The position serves as techno-functional expert for the Finance and/or Supply Chain modules with strong expertise on System seed configuration, EDI development mapping and PL/SQL coding. As part of the role, the person is expected to interact with Finance and/or supply chain operations, identify gaps and improvement opportunities in business processes, and design solutions using PL/SQL and EDI. The Techno-Functional role involves working closely with both technical and business teams to understand the organization's business processes and requirements. They bridge the gap between the technical team responsible for implementing and customizing the ERP system and the functional team responsible for defining and optimizing business processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Undertaking requirements gathering, system configuration and customization, data migration, testing and quality assurance, user training & support, and continuous improvement of current systems and processes
  • In accordance with Project Plan, delivering the projects in time and in accordance to the customer requirements. Providing Training to the users for each new development/process change. Preparing the documentation related to the project which included new components details, integration details, architectural changes and process changes
  • Utilize functional & technical skills to give shape to future business processes and architecture in the areas such as Order to Cash (Order Management, Accounts Receivables, Advanced Collections and Cash Management) and Contracts to Cash (Service Contracts, Install Base and Accounts Receivables), as required
  • Responding to the queries raised by user in time. Ensuring that there is minimal disruption in the service. In case of disruption ensuring restoration of the service as soon as possible for smooth Business operations.
  • Providing proper resolution for the Tickets within the SLA and to the satisfaction of the customer. Minimizing the number of service disruption, by performing the RCA and taking corrective action.
  • Preparing User Manual for the new processes so that the users are aware of functionality and avoid issues. Preparing Knowledge Base Document for regular issues and sharing on the portal
  • Prioritize Business requests and provided resolution based on criticality. Arrange meeting with the Business users to provide clarifications. Keep the key stakeholders informed on the new development/process change and take necessary approvals. Co-ordinating with the Vendors for the applications supported by them to resolve the user issues and find permanent solutions.
  • Arrange regular meetings with team members to discuss the concerns and challenges faced so that a permanent solution can be derived Team Skills upgrading Business Process improvement - Suggest possible solutions to improve business processes

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in IT compliance, risk management, or a related role.
  • Drive to meet and exceed goals and standards of excellence; ability to take prompt actions to achieve goals
  • Ability to approach data and situations logically, to break down problems into their component parts and look for underlying causes or thinking through the consequences of different courses of action
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work to manage time effectively and accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Excellent listening, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team
  • Specific industry knowledge
  • Understanding of different data sources and transaction applications
  • Domain and business knowledge
