The role of an Oracle EBS technical developer is to ensure and uphold the design principles/patterns, ensuring solutions are in line with OIC architecture principles and security framework. This role demands out-of-the-box thinking and solutions/approaches that ensure customers/partners can access the services 24x7.
Accountabilities:
7 plus years of experience in developing and managing Oracle ERP (R12) as a technical consultant.
Develop (design/build/test) and support Oracle E-Business Suite R12 and integration components.
Excellent knowledge of Oracle modules like Oracle Financials and Purchasing from a technical perspective.
Experience in development of Web-based/Client-Server applications, accelerators, web services using SOAP and REST.
Assist QA team in explaining the integration mechanisms and approach.
Experience in XML/BI Publisher reports creation.
Designing and development in Oracle forms, reports 10G+ and WebADI.
Writing ad-hoc queries based on schema knowledge for various reporting requirements.
Excellent knowledge of Workflow customization plus new development.
Good knowledge and experience of OAF.
Data structure design, development, and creation of packages, procedures, and functions based on business requirements in Oracle Database.
In-depth knowledge and experience in SQL and PL/SQL including tuning.
In-depth knowledge and experience in data Import/Export, SQL*Loader.
Familiarity and good hands-on experience with Oracle specific tools and utilities like TOAD, WINSCP, PUTTY, SQL DEVELOPER, etc.
Provide optimal design solutions to improve system quality and efficiency.
Maintain technical documentation for reference purposes.
Write complex codes and queries and participate in code reviews.
Develop monitoring tools to report any system events.
Perform root cause analysis on all issues and provide status updates to management on a regular basis.

Education, Experience and Formal/Professional Qualifications:
Insurance knowledge is a plus.
Graduate/diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.
Certification on EBS is a plus.
Oracle Apex Application development is a plus.
Experience of working in Gulf and UAE Region is a plus.
Good communication skills both oral and in writing. Experience of working in an agile environment.
Keen to develop and learn rapidly.
Proactive and willing to contribute ideas/opinions.
Should be flexible and willing to work extra hours subject to the nature of the engagements.
