Responsibilities• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess and diagnose vision problems, eye diseases, and other abnormalities.• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids as needed to correct vision issues.• Detect and diagnose eye-related health issues such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration.• Monitor and manage ongoing eye health issues through regular check-ups and follow-up appointments.• Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries, such as LASIK or cataract surgery.• Educate patients on proper eye care practices and preventive measures to maintain good eye health.• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as ophthalmologists and primary care physicians, to provide comprehensive patient care.
