JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for performing a variety of ophthalmic and imaging procedures.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform ophthalmic imaging and diagnostic studies as designated by a physician
Perform Fluorescein Angiography, ICG, OCT, Slitlamp, OCT-A, Fundus and External photography.
Perform clinical research imaging, and assit with medical imaging as needed
Assist with the storage and retrieval of photographic images for staff.
Maintain photographic equipment and schedule repair or maintenance as required
Perform other duties, as assigned
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of two (2) years experience in ophthalmic imaging
Proficient in performing OCT's, Fundus photography, Fluorescein angiography and external photography
Basic understanding of Photoshop
Strong critical thinking skills and decisive judgement
Possesses a positive, flexible, team oriented attitude with attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to speak and write in English is required
Ability to speak Arabic is advantageous but not required
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Certification from the Ophthalmic Photographers Society (OPS) or Institute of Medical Illustrators (IMI) or equivalent is required.
